Indoor & Outdoor Electric Radiant Heat Strip
Our new Heatstrip is a high intensity electric outdoor radiant heater suitable
for tough indoor and outdoor heating applications. Ideal for outdoor,
undercover applications including smoking or dining areas, patios, balconies or
sidewalk cafes. Ideal indoor applications include spot heating in
factories, showrooms, animal enclosures or any other indoor open areas.
How it works: Similar to the radiant heat
rays emitted by the sun, a unique electric heating element emits a rapid, even
radiant warmth directly to the individual people and surfaces below.
Unlike traditional outdoor gas heaters, which aim to heat the surrounding air
and can result in high temperatures close to the heat source and lower
temperatures further away, the radiant heat penetrates through the air to
provide a comfortable, even temperature directly to people and surfaces below
the heater.

Installation Location:
For both wall and ceiling mounting, the lowest
part of the heater must be located a minimum of 84" above the floor level.
The heater must not be closer than 40" to adjacent walls, with a minimum of 2.5"
between the back of the heater and any surface. Thermal insulation,
cables, or any flammable materials should not be allowed to come into contact
with the unit. Futhermore, the heater must not be installed below a socket
outlet.
Operation:
The heater is required to be fitted with an
"ON/OFF" isolation switch and can also be controlled via thermosat or timer.
Once the unit is turned on, it will take approximately 10 minutes to warm up to
normal operating temperature. The front panel of the heater can reach
temperatures up to 716 degrees Fahrenheit, do not touch any part of the heater
while in operation or for 30 minutes after turning the unit off.
