Home Theatre Cooling Fan Whisper Quiet Operation (29 db) 50 CFM
Protect your expensive electronic investments! All home audio and video equipment, as well as plasma televisions and lcd screens emit large amounts of heat. Today's modern electronic components are made with fragile electronic circuits that were never designed to operate in super heated environments (Which is exactly what happens when you place multiple electronic components in a cabinet or enclosed area).
Electronic equipment operating in this environment can over heat and fail prematurely. Internal fans on individual components will only circulate the heat in the enclosed area.
The solution is the Home Theatre Cooling Fan. Unlike other fans you may find on the market, the Home Theatre Cooling fan is whisper quiet, it operates at less than 29 decibels. That means whether you are watching a movie or listening to music, you will never be annoyed by the loud buzzing of the Home Theatre Cooling Fan.
Sizing the Home Theatre Cooling fan is quite simple. As a general rule of thumb refer to the chart below:
| 1 Amp, 1 DVR, 1 DVD | 1 Fan | |
| 1 Amp, 1 DVR, 1 DVD, 1 Power conditioner | 2 Fans | |
| 1 Amp, 2 DVR's, 1 DVD | 2 Fans | |
| 2 Amp, 2 DVR, 1 DVD, 1 Power conditioner | 3-4 Fans |
As we know heat rises, the best place to position the Home Theatre Cooling fan is above the cabinet blowing out. For an optimal installation, an opening at the bottom the the cabinet will allow for cross ventilation of the entire cabinet with cooler outside (of the cabinet) air.
The Home Theatre Cooling Fan is equipped with a standard 2 pronged "lamp" cord. This can be easily plugged into the back of one of the switched outlets of your components, or into a standard power strip.
An optional inline thermostat is also
available, which can be used to automatically turn on/off up to 2 Home Theatre
Cooling Fans.
Fan Dimensions: 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/2"
