Methane (Natural Gas)  Gas Detector Alarm With 1" Valve Control Includes: Methane Detector, 500 MA, AC Adapter, 120 VAC plug in power adapter, 12V battery back up with holder, and 1" NPT Valve Professional Installation is recommended from a licensed installer.  This system will automatically close the gas valve when propane gas levels reach 4000 ppm (natural gas 10,000 ppm).  The unit will also sound an audible alarm.  The gas valve remains closed, until the following two conditions are met: Gas vapors are no longer present and the unit is manually reset.
