A mercury recovery vacuum is good for collecting liquid mercury and mercury contaminated particulate matter and returning filtered air back into the area.

A mercury recovery vacuum is unique, because it features a liquid mercury separator which allows the user to collect and separate the liquid mercury into a removable, sealable collection jar.  This vacuum also includes a disposable collection filter bag and a 99.97% @ 0.3 micron HEPA filter and high capacity activated carbon filter.  This mercury vacuum is good for use in labs, hospitals, emergency clean up or any area where possibly mercury contamination exists.

This model has a 6 gallon stainless steel tank.

An approved mercury detection device should be on hand at all times to determine the efficiency of the vacuum and its carbon filter. This vacuum should only be used by people who have been properly trained for handling mercury and mercury contaminated material.
