Patented Evaporative Booster Technology -
During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air as it passes through
the unit. Most of this water is used to cool the unit and make it run more
efficiently. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain
outlet. When the tank fills, the compressor stops running. This indicates that
the tank should be emptied. Included with the unit is a window mounted exhaust
kit. AC must be vented via exhaust hose and window kit (included).

The PLM series portable air conditioner, like
all portable air conditioning units require the installation of a window kit.
For further, please see diagram near the bottom of this page. The PLM portable air conditioner has an
internal water tank, the unit goes into auto shut-off mode when the tank is
full. An option is available to connect a drain hose to the unit for
operation.
