Sunpentown SF-616 Evaporative Air Cooler
With Rotating Louvers
Designed with micro-computer control system, this
evaporative air cooler can lower surrounding temperature and humidify the air
through the principle of water evaporation. Provides versatile and economical
way to cool and humidify your immediate surrounding. Feature 3-D Cooling Pad and
rotating louver for added cooling and air distribution. The Cooler easily rolls
from room to room and can also be used as a fan or humidifier if temperature is
not an issue. The remote control allows you to easily change
settings.
The
Air Cooler works by endothermic reaction (a reaction that consumes heat), which
sucks air through it 3-D Cooling Pad (saturated with water). As the air flows
through the pad, some of the water evaporates into the air, consuming the heat
that was in the air. An air stream is then blown out the front of the unit and
is considerably cooler than the current room temperature! This is not an air
conditioner and therefore uses much less energy.
The
3-Dimensional Cooling Pad is made of cellulose paper, impregnated with unique
ingredients for high performance and structural strength. Treated with special
stiffening and wetting agents for maximum water absorption and retention; and
with Anti-Rot chemical for prevention of algae and bacteria growth. Due tot he
3-dimensional weaving structure, the cooling pad allows longer contact between
air and water.
Note:
The unit works well in dry climates; not very effective in areas with high
humidity as the unit utilizes water to cool.
