Do-It Yourself Rotary Chimney & Pellet Stove Cleaning System - The SootEater

Did you know that if you use your chimney more than three times a week during the heating season, the Chimney Institute Of America recommends cleaning of your chimney at least once a year.  Burning unseasoned wood (wood that is wet), may require cleanings twice or more a year!

Why Do You Need To Clean Your Chimney?

Residue inside your chimney's flue builds up after usage, this residue is called creosote.  If allowed to build, this creosote can turn into a burning inferno - an intense fire in the confines of your chimney...Chimney fires are dangerous!  They burn at very high temperatures, so hot in fact that it puts your home's structure in jeopardy.  The heat generated by these intense burning fires can also cause cracks to form in your chimney's flue.  Carbon monoxide is a sneaky poison, it can seep through these flue cracks and enter your home.

SootEater Pays For Itself After One Use!

The cleaning of your chimney can be a drain on your pocketbook, with an average cost of $150 for one cleaning, it is easy to see how the SootEater pays for itself with one use!
