Many states have now changed electrical
standards so when a misting/fogging device is attached to a fan, the motor must
be UL507 or outdoor certified. In the past you would pay 3-4 times the regular
price to get fans for outdoor applications; well not anymore with our new UL507
outdoor certified series fans. We recommend all of our outdoor fans have a
GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) in all circuits. This fan would be ideal
for the following applications: Air de-stratification reduces heating and
cooling bills, Air exchange when placed in a wall opening or in open sidewall
buildings, Consistent air temperature throughout a room, building or barn, heat
stress relief indoors and outdoors for young and old, surface drying, people and
animal cooling, machine/compressor cooling, high velocity air cooling.

Illinois.
