Many states have now changed electrical standards so when a misting/fogging device is attached to an industrial fan, the motor must be UL507 or outdoor certified. In the past you would pay 3-4 times the regular price to get fans for outdoor applications; not anymore with these UL507 outdoor certified series fans. 

We recommend outdoor industrial fans have a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) in all circuits. This fan would be ideal for the following applications: Air de-stratification reduces heating and cooling bills, Air exchange when placed in a wall opening or in open sidewall buildings, Consistent air temperature throughout a room, building or barn, heat stress relief indoors and outdoors for young and old, surface drying, people and animal cooling,  machine/compressor cooling, high velocity air cooling.  It is also great for outdoor loading docks, greenhouses and amusement parks because this fan can be sprayed down to remove dust and dirt build up.

The mounting bracket allows you to easily tilt and swivel the fan to change the direction and angle of the air movement.  There is also an optional bracket available for mounting this fan to a pole.
