This premium industrial waterproof fan is UL507 certified and can be used indoor or out.

Many states have now changed electrical standards so when a misting/fogging device is attached to an industrial fan, the motor must be UL507 or outdoor certified. In the past you would pay 3-4 times the regular price to get industrial fans for outdoor applications; not anymore with this UL507 outdoor certified fan. We recommend when used outdoors, this fan have a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) in all circuits. This fan is rated for use with misting adapters listed below.

This industrial fan would be ideal for air de-stratification which reduces heating and cooling bills, Air exchange when placed in a wall opening or in open sidewall buildings, This fan is fantastic for use at a marina, outdoor loading dock or patio where the fans may come in contact with rain and humidity. This UL507 fan can be sprayed down to remove dust and dirt build up, which also makes them idea for agricultural use. The totally enclosed, maintenance free, direct drive high efficiency motors have completely sealed ball bearings

Answer: Unfortunately, it cannot be wired to a switch.
Question: Is this fan offered in black or is there a comparable unit in black?
Answer: The 24 inch indoor-outdoor fan is only available in White. We do not have any outdoor wall mounted fans in black.
